Celebrity barman Pascal Okechukwu, popularly known as Cubana Chief Priest, has officially switched his political allegiance from former 2023 Labour Party presidential candidate Peter Obi to President Bola Tinubu.
Chief Priest, who was among the high-profile celebrities supporting Obi during the 2023 elections, now throws his weight behind Tinubu as the next election cycle approaches.
Currently, he serves as a coordinator for the City Boys Movement, a grassroots mobilisation group founded by Seyi Tinubu to rally support for her father’s potential 2027 campaign.
In a candid chat with popular streamer Peller, Cubana Chief Priest explained that his decision to leave Obi’s camp was motivated by a desire to avoid a repeat political disappointment. He also expressed confidence in Tinubu’s ability to secure another victory in 2027.
“I left Obi because I don’t want to lose again; they say the first fool is no fool, but the second fool is a proper fool. Tinubu will still win,” he remarked.
