Mummy Wa Explains Why She Is Still Single at 30, Talks Love for Fictional Characters
Nigerian content creator and skitmaker Kemi Ikuseedun, popularly known as Mummy Wa, has opened up on why she is still single at the age of 30, attributing her relationship struggles to an unusual romantic preference.
In a candid video broadcast, she explained that she has not yet found a “real man” she can fall in love with, admitting that her emotions are often drawn to fictional characters from films and television dramas rather than real-life partners.
“The reason why I am still single is that I went to go and fall in love with a fictional character. And it is not only me, a lot of women fall for fictional characters. But where are we going to see him?” she said.
She added with humour and reflection, “I am almost 30, and I am still waiting for Lee Min Ho. What if I meet Le Min Ho in real life and he is not the same as the person in ‘Boys Over Flowers’?”
Mummy Wa further explained that this pattern has shaped her romantic expectations in reality, noting, “Honestly, I am still single because it is only fictional characters I keep falling for.”
Her remarks have sparked conversations among fans about modern dating expectations and the influence of on-screen romance on real-life relationships.
