Moulud Nabiyy: APC Chieftain Waliu Jide Ojuko Felicitates Ogun Muslims, Urges Love, Peace

A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress in Ogun State, Chief Waliu Jide Ojuko, has felicitated Muslims across the state on the occasion of this year’s Moulud Nabiyy, urging the faithful to reflect on and embrace the virtues exemplified by the Holy Prophet Muhammad (SAW).

Ojuko, who is a multiple chieftaincy title holder, extended his goodwill to the Muslim community in Ogun State, describing the celebration as an important opportunity for Muslims to deepen their faith and promote peaceful coexistence, love and unity within their communities.

In his message, the APC chieftain called on Muslims to look beyond the festivities associated with Moulud Nabiyy and reflect on the teachings and exemplary character of Prophet Muhammad (SAW), particularly his compassion, humility, honesty, patience and commitment to justice.

“Moulud Nabiyy is not only a celebration of the birth of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (SAW), but also a time for us to reflect on his teachings and the virtues he represented. His life remains a powerful example of love, compassion, patience, tolerance and peaceful coexistence,” Ojuko said.

He urged the Muslim faithful to demonstrate these virtues in their daily lives, stressing that the principles of love, respect, peaceful coexistence and service to humanity remain essential to the development of Ogun State and Nigeria.

According to him, religious celebrations provide an opportunity for communities to strengthen bonds, promote understanding and encourage actions that contribute positively to society.

Ojuko also called on Muslims and other residents of Ogun State to continue supporting initiatives that promote peace and unity, irrespective of religious, ethnic or political differences.

“At a time when our society needs greater unity and understanding, we must continue to promote peace, love and mutual respect. We should allow the virtues of the Prophet Muhammad (SAW) to guide our relationships with one another and inspire us to contribute meaningfully to our communities,” he added.

The APC chieftain further prayed for continued peace, stability and prosperity across Ogun State and Nigeria, while urging residents to remain hopeful and committed to the progress of their communities.

He congratulated the Muslim Ummah on the Moulud Nabiyy celebration and wished them a peaceful, joyous and spiritually rewarding occasion.
