Nigerian rapper and social media personality Speed Darlington has issued a warning to comedian and content creator Carter Efe ahead of their highly anticipated celebrity boxing bout.
The two entertainers are scheduled to clash on October 1, 2026, at the Balmoral Convention Centre, Federal Palace Hotel, Victoria Island, Lagos, as part of the ‘Chaos in the Ring’ series.
Speed Darlington has kept the tension high with a series of provocative remarks directed at his opponent in the build-up to the fight. The bout will mark his second outing in the celebrity boxing circuit following a loss to singer Portable in 2025.
Carter Efe, meanwhile, enters the contest in strong form after defeating Portable by unanimous decision in May 2026. All three judges scored the three-round contest 30-27 in his favour.
The rivalry between the two has intensified during promotional activities. At their official press conference, the entertainers engaged in a heated confrontation and had to be separated by security personnel.
The October 1 fight will be the first time Speed Darlington and Carter Efe step into the ring against each other, after months of exchanges largely confined to social media and promotional events.
The ‘Chaos in the Ring’ card will also feature other bouts, including the WBO African Light Heavyweight Continental Championship clash between Nigeria’s Godday Appah and Ghana’s Seth ‘Freezy Macbones’ Gyimah.
