The governor of Rivers State, Nyesom Wike has condemned the alleged attack on his counterpart in Ekiti State, Governor Ayodele Fayose at the state government house on Wednesday.
Wike in his reaction to the attack on Fayose said the attack indicates what Nigerians should expect in the forthcoming 2019 elections
Reacting to the attack on Fayose, Wike said the attack was a pointer to what Nigerians should expect in the forthcoming 2019 elections.
The Governor said this on Wednesday while addressing journalists at the Rivers State Government House in Port Harcourt, the state capital.
According to him “My state may suffer the same fate, everyone should be on alert.
“We urge the people of Ekiti State and supporters of the PDP not to allow the incident dampen their morale ahead of Saturday’s governorship election.”
