Nigeria moved to within one win of the World Cup last 16 after Ahmed Musa scored twice in a dramatic second half to secure a 2-0 victory over Iceland in Volgograd on Friday.
The Super Eagles will qualify for the knockout stage if they can beat Argentina on Tuesday.
Musa’s excellent double gave the African side the lead before a missed penalty by Iceland midfielder Gylfi Sigurdsson.
The result means a win for Nigeria in their last game against the deflated Argentines will secure a place for them in the round of 16.
The Lionel Messi’s side was torn apart by Croatia with a resounding 3 nil smacking in the other group D encounter on Thursday.
