Big Brother Naija organisers have issued a stern warning to the public about fraudulent claims asking for payment to attend auditions, emphasizing that the process remains entirely free for eligible Nigerians.
In a statement shared on X, the organisers advised Nigerians to ignore any messages requesting money for BBNaija auditions. They confirmed that auditions are free, fair, and accessible, urging applicants to only rely on official Africa Magic and Big Brother Naija platforms for accurate updates.
The statement reads:
“Any communication requesting payment for Big Brother Naija auditions is false and should be disregarded. Auditions require no payment and remain free, fair, and accessible to all eligible Nigerians. Please rely only on official Africa Magic and Big Brother Naija platforms for verified information. We appreciate your enthusiasm and urge everyone to remain vigilant against misinformation.”
The warning comes as Season 11 auditions are underway. Online registration opened on May 16 and will run until May 20, 2026, with limited slots available. The registration portal will close once maximum capacity is reached. Physical auditions are scheduled for May 22–24, 2026, in Lagos, Abuja, and Enugu.
Organisers are calling on fans to remain alert and report any misleading communications about audition fees.
