Socialite and businessman Pascal Okechukwu, popularly known as Cubana Chief Priest, has declared that the Igbo people will do everything possible to ensure President Bola Tinubu’s re-election in 2027.
Speaking as the Imo State Director of the City Boy Movement, a support group aligned with Tinubu’s Renewed Hope agenda, Okechukwu said Igbos now have direct access to the President through his son, Seyi Tinubu.
In a video circulating on social media, he addressed supporters in Imo State and expressed confidence that the state would vote for the All Progressives Congress (APC).
“We Igbos now have access to Mr. President Tinubu through his son, Seyi Tinubu. That’s why we’re doing everything to make sure he’s re-elected,” he said.
Okechukwu added that thousands of residents were registering for the APC and that Imolites had embraced the City Boy Movement. “Ndi Imo don’t just love the City Boys Movement, they believe in it. Let’s do politics with lifestyle. On Asiwaju’s mandate, we shall stand. Imo is APC. Here, it’s zero competition,” he stated.
He described the movement as a fresh approach to political mobilisation and highlighted the growing membership of the APC in the state.
