COVID-19: Nigeria records 964 new infections

A total of 964 new coronavirus infections emerged in the country on Sunday, according to Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC).

The NCDC announced this via its verified Twitter account on Sunday night.

The health agency also confirmed that the nation’s death toll now stands at 1,504.

The new infections were recorded from 18 States and the Federal Capital Territory, in the last 24 hours, NCDC stated.

In the breakdown of the Sunday’s news infections, the Centre disclosed that Lagos recorded the highest toll with 360 cases, followed by FCT, 88.
