Nigerian TikTok personality and content creator, Hamzat Habeeb Adelaja, popularly known as Peller, has warned Nollywood producers and skitmakers against casting his wife, Jarvis, in kissing or romantic roles involving male actors.
Peller, who recently married fellow content creator Jarvis, issued the warning during a recent livestream while discussing the boundaries he expects to be respected following their marriage.
He said he would not be comfortable with Jarvis participating in romantic scenes with other male actors, describing such roles as disrespectful to their marriage.
Addressing Nollywood producers, Peller urged them not to offer his wife roles involving kissing or romantic interactions with other men.
“Nollywood producers, you can see that Jarvis and I are now married. Don’t ever give her a kissing role. I don’t want her acting in romantic roles with any actor. I am warning you all, stay in your lane,” he said.
Peller also warned that he would react against anyone who ignored his position.
“To be forewarned is to be forearmed. I will harm anyone who refuses to heed my warning,” he added.
