Drama as Edo Gov Struggles To Read State’s Budget, Says “It Is Confusing… ” (VIDEO)
The governor of Edo State, Monday Okphebolo, created a dramatic moment when he went to the Edo State House of Assembly to present the state’s budget.
As is customary, governors are expected to read certain parts of the budget that include the spending figures for the upcoming year. Monday Okphebolo followed this tradition, but his presentation took a humorous turn.
As he began to read the figures, he struggled to pronounce them accurately. After attempting to recite the numbers about three times, he finally admitted, “It is confusing me.”
This confession prompted laughter among the lawmakers, who were not accustomed to such a lighthearted moment during budget presentations.
