Easter depicts sacrifice, love and selfless service to God and humanity.
Hon Nurudeen Aina Akinpelu, a former two-term lawmaker in Ogun State, has felicitated with Christians in Ado-Odo/Otta and Ogun State calling on them to embrace selfless service to God and humanity.
In his Easter message to Christians in the state and made available to newsheadline247, Akinpelu pointed out that the season is a period that provides an opportunity for unity of purpose, reinforcement of brotherhood bond and dedication in service to God and humanity as symbolized by Jesus Christ.
Akinpelu who is the current Commissioner II of the State Judicial Service Commission said, Easter depicts sacrifice, love and selfless service to God and humanity.
He urged Christians across the state to always imbibe the lessons and significance of the Easter period and make it manifest in their respective lives.
While wishing the Christian faithful across the local government and State, peaceful and joyous Easter celebrations, Akinpelu urged their leaders “to use the occasion to preach peace, tolerance and unity amongst the people in the state.”
