The statement issued by the Special Adviser on Media to the Edo state Government Crusoe Osagie on an alleged arrest warrant issued by the police on Engineer Yusuf Binji, the Managing Director of BUA Obu Cement has turned total falsehood!

The Edo government mouthpiece claimed the arrest warrant was in connection with an attack on the convoy of the state governor Godwin Obaseki on Thursday- January 4, 2018.

But Police Public Relations Officer Jimoh Moshood stated emphatically that there is no such directive.

This development carpets statement issued by the Special Adviser on Media to the Edo state government, Crusoe Osagie alleging that the police issued an arrest wararnt for the arrest of the BUA Cement Managing Director.

PPRO Jimoh stated clearly that there had been no such directive from the police at the state or Federal command.

The PPRO’s clarification on lies of arrests peddling around by the Edo State government’s mouthpiece however emphatically absolves the BUA boss of complicity in the alleged attack as well as other claims by the Edo state government.
