Nigerian singer Teniola Apata, popularly known as Teni, has clapped back at actress Nkechi Blessing after the thespian challenged her to a boxing match on social media.
The light-hearted yet feisty exchange unfolded on Friday when Nkechi Blessing reacted to a post shared by the “Askamaya” crooner. Seizing the moment, the actress publicly dared Teni to step into the ring, writing on Instagram: “Teni, let’s go next.”
Rather than accept the invitation head-on, Teni delivered a witty response that left fans in stitches. The singer reminded Nkechi of an earlier expectation, simply stating: “You wey suppose be my bouncer.”
In a separate but equally fiery moment, Teni has also thrown down the gauntlet at fellow music star Tiwa Savage. In a video posted on her Instagram page, the singer launched into a candid discussion about Nigerian artistes’ earnings and the lavish lifestyles of some of her male colleagues. Mid-rant, she turned her attention to Tiwa, declaring she was ready for a physical showdown.
“Let’s fight, me and Tiwa Savage next, I’ll beat you enter bush, me that I’m already angry, I won’t even look at your son Jamal face, 1 billion,” Teni said, adding that she would eventually apologise after the supposed thrashing.
The dual challenges have set social media ablaze, with fans eagerly awaiting the next round of celebrity banter.
