Isabell Idibia, the daughter of Nollywood star Annie Idibia and music legend 2Baba, has cleared the air on the friendship between her mother and celebrity stylist Swanky Jerry.
Speaking during an interview on Yanga FM 89.9 Lagos, Isabell firmly dismissed claims that the pair’s closeness is purely for public show.
“They are actually close; it is not just for the camera. Sometimes they are even on FaceTime. He was at the house some time ago, but I was asleep and couldn’t see him. That is my Uncle Swanky,” she said.
The young star also revealed her favourite song from her father’s extensive discography, choosing the popular hit “Nfanga Ibaga.”
In related developments, Annie Idibia appears to have taken another step in her personal journey. Recent Instagram posts shared on Tuesday night showed that the actress has covered the prominent “Idibia” tattoo on her left chest with a delicate butterfly design.
The change comes shortly after Annie posted about moving on from her past relationship. The development follows earlier online speculation after an old video of Annie and 2Baba enjoying a night out resurfaced, briefly sparking reconciliation rumours.
