The Federal House of Representatives has lifted the suspension placed on the former Chairman, House Committee on Appropriation, Hon. Abdulmumin Jibrin.

Embattled Hon. Jibrin (Kano-APC) who was suspended for allegedly exposing ‘budget padding’ scandal that rocked the legislative arm of the Nigerian government.

Newsheadline247 understands the suspension was lifted following a letter of apology signed by Mr Jibrin which was presented by the speaker of the House, Mr Yakubu Doagara, at the plenary Tuesday.

Recall that Jibrin was suspended for a hundred and eighty legislative days after allegedly exposing a monumental scandal centred around budget paddling in the National Assembly.

While presenting the letter, the House speaker, Dogara said that the suspended legislator had met all the conditions necessary for him to resume his duties.

The speaker declared that Mr Jibrin was free to resume his legislative duties whenever he is ready to do so.
