The operatives of the Osun State Amotekun Corps in South West Region of Nigeria have arrested three suspected burglar and a herbalist in the state.

The Nation newspaper reports that Sola Taiwo known as Shadow, leader of the burglars, was arrested after Amotekun corps used a sex worker to bait him.

According to the report, Taiwo had gone to patronise a sex worker and refused to pay her. The sex worker was said have seized a phone he stole in his last operation in place of the service rendered.

The corps traced the phone to the sex worker and used her as a bait to catch Taiwo on Sunday.

Taiwo reportedly led the corps to his gang members, Samson Adedokun, 18, Kazeem Saka, 20, and Rafiu Azeez their herbalist.

The Director-General of Amotekun, Comrade Amitolu Shittu confirmed the incident on Sunday. He commended the residents of the state for cooperating with the outfit by giving reliable information that has led to the arrest of criminals.

He said the burglars have been handed over to the police.
