At a pivotal PTO meeting yesterday, All Progressives Congress (APC) chairmanship candidate for Lagos Island Local Government, Hon. Prince Taiwo Ajibade Oyekan, expressed deep gratitude to party members and supporters for their backing in his emergence as the official candidate.
Addressing the gathering of Team PTO members and APC stakeholders, Oyekan extended a message of peace and unity, urging his team to treat fellow aspirants with respect.
“They are our brothers,” he said, discouraging any form of disdain or division toward others who had contested for the party’s ticket.
Emphasizing the need for collective effort, he stated, “We cannot achieve the goal of electing me as the next Executive Chairman of Lagos Island Local Government alone—we need everyone’s support.”
