An unidentified man has been reported dead after he jumped from the 7th floor of a building at 1004 Estate, Victoria Island in attempt to flee from personnel of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) who were after a suspect on Thursday
A report stated that the operatives of the Commission were in the estate to effect the arrest of a suspect who was not in any way connected to the deceased.
The case has since been transferred to the homicide unit of the State Criminal Investigation Department (SCID) for further investigation.
Spokesman of the Lagos State Police Command, Olumuyiwa Adejobi, who confirmed the ill-fated incident said the yet to be identified young man died after he jumped from the 7th floor of a building in VI, Lagos.
