Nigerian musician Seun Kuti has encouraged men to embrace polygamy, pointing out that monogamy is not working.

The Afrobeat crooner encouraged men to have multiple women stressing that having multiple women demonstrates power and affluence.

Seun who made this assertion on the ‘Bahd & Boujee’ podcast, claimed that “Monogamy doesn’t work”

He said, “Monogamy doesn’t work. As a powerful man, you must have the support of numerous powerful goddesses. You know, women that are in your life because the ancestors want to put them there. You share with them.”

He added that his late father, the legendary Afrobeat pioneer, Fela Anikulapo Kuti, had over 100 concubines despite marrying 27 women in one day.
