The Nigerian Air Force jets have bombed hideouts of the Islamic State of West African Province (ISWAP) terrorists in Damboa local government area of Borno State, killing many of the insurgents.

It was gathered that multiple airstrikes were conducted by the Nigerian Air Force Task Force, Operation Hadin Kai on Nov. 27, 2022, while targeting a convoy of the terrorists at a location giving as Kau-Shoro’a.

Security sources from the Air Force, told Zagazola Makama, a counter-insurgency expert in the Lake Chad region that the Super Tucano fighter jet precision air raids succeeded in bombing a hilux vehicle conveying some fighters, killing all its occupants.

The sources said that bodies of the terrorists were scattered all over the place as the surviving ISWAP took to their heels.

The source vowed that the Nigerian Air Force, operating in concert with surface forces, will sustain their offensives against the terrorists in the North East region.
