Oseloka Obaze, former Anambra State Government Secretary and Peter Obi’s campaign manager, has left the Labour Party (LP) due to unresolved national leadership disputes.

In his resignation letter to the LP Chairman in Ochuche Ward 406, Ogbaru Local Government, Obaze criticized the party’s internal management and condemned the April 5, 2025, Anambra governorship primary as riddled with irregularities.

A key figure in Anambra’s LP and a driving force behind the 2023 ‘Obidient movement,’ Obaze’s departure intensifies the party’s ongoing crisis in the state.
