Prince Aina Kazeem Owolabi believes that the people of Ado/Ado Ota Local Government deserve the best at all times and he has made it a point of duty to reach out to them at any given opportunity as an altruistic politician, who matches words with actions.
Prince Aina Kazeem Owolabi loves his people with his whole heart, which is why he wants to vie for the position of the Chairman of Ado/Ado Local Government in the forthcoming local government election in Ogun State under the All Progressives Congress (APC).
Just recently, the joy of scores of party faithfuls in Ijoko Ward knew no bounds as the Prince of Courage Hon. Kazeem Aina donated N100,000 (One Hundred Thousand Naira) and 10 bags of rice to party members.
Hon. Kazeem pledged to give out the sum of N10,000 every month to 10 party members of the ward from March till when the LG elections will hold.
Everyone at the meeting smiled home and sang songs of praises to the philanthropist.
The Ward Chairman, Alhaji Kola Yusuf requested that two members offer prayers while he also expressed gratitude on behalf of all party members.
It is on record that as part of his desire to serve the people, Hon. Kazeem Aina aspired to represent Ado-Odo/Ota Federal Constituency in the National Assembly in the 2019 General Elections.
He is adjudged by many as not only eminently qualified to be the Chairman of Ado/Ota LG, but also believed to be a compassionate leader, who loves his people and ready to go extra mile to make them happy.
For the records and for purposes of emphasis, Prince Aina Kazeem Owolabi was born on Sunday 15th April, 1973 at Ota Maternity Centre then, Egba District, now Ado Odo Local Government to Prince Aina Mohammed Adeyemi and Mrs. Saidat Adejoke of Ijemo- Isoloshi Royal family and Oke-Idota, Otun Ota respectively and he is a practicing Muslim by faith.
Prince Owolabi attended Ansar-Ud–Deen Practicing School, Ota between 1981 and 1986.
He was at Ansar –Ud- Deen Comprehensive College between 1987 and 1994, and he later went to Kwara- State Polytechnic, Ilorin to read Mineral Resources Engineering between 1995 and 1997.
He underwent his student Industrial Attachment at West African Portland Cement, Ewekoro in 1998.
Based on his knack for knowledge, he proceeded to the Federal Polytechnic, Ado-Ekiti for his Higher National Diploma to study Mining Engineering between 1999 and 2001.
He later proceeded for his compulsory National Youth Service corps (N.Y.S.C) in Kano between 2002 and 2003 precisely at Government Girls College, Gwalle- Kano, Kano State.
Prince Owolabi started his career as Personal Assistant to the Commissioner of Federal Character Commission, Abuja from 2003 to 2005 and later secured a job as Marketing Officer with Gateway Hotel, Ota between 2005 and 2007.
In August 2007, he secured a better offer with Reynolds Construction Company, Abuja as a Quality Control Officer and he was there from 2007 to 2009.
In March 2009, political call returned him to Ogun State where he served as Personal Assistant to the Ogun-State Commissioner for Agriculture between 2009 and 2011.
In a bid to broaden his knowledge in private, public and civil service, he decided to pick up a job with the Ogun State Government as a Senior Mines Officer at the Ministry of Commerce and Industry in Abeokuta, specifically Geological Service in late 2011 and he resigned his appointment in late 2014, while preparing to contest for a seat in the Federal House of Representatives from Ado Odo Ota Federal Constituency in 2015.
Prince Owolabi finally returned to private practice having floated Prince of Courage Nigeria Limited, a mining service mineral exploration and exploitation, material sourcing, haulage, and plant hiring company.
The company is currently a sub-contractor to major world class construction companies, which include
Reynolds Construction Company, the company that is currently reconstructing Lagos-Ibadan and Benin-Ore Shagamu Express roads, Dangote Construction Company, which is currently reconstructing Apapa Port Road,
Chinese Global and Development Construction Company (C.G.D.C.C), currently constructing Eleyele Eruwa road in Oyo- State.
He recently ventured into poultry farming with over ten thousand birds and appreciable number of sheep, ram, she goats, goats and cows.
Prince Aina Kazeem Owolabi is a practicing Muslim, and he is married to Princess Aina Saidat Oluwabukola (Nee Faluyi) and Barrister Nafisah-Aina Kazeem (Nee Akinpelu) and they are blessed with princes and princesses.
His desire to serve his generation and generations unborn is sacrosanct and he is determined to leave unique and uncommon legacy with God and the people as his strength.
His leadership skill has been tested over the years as he was the male prefect of Ansar-Ud-Deen Practicing School, Ota in 1986 and he was a member of the Student Representative Council of Ansar-Ud-Deen Comprehensive College, Ota from 1989 to 1990.
He was the President of Metallurgical and Mineral Resources Engineering in Kwara State Polytechnic, Ilorin from 1996 to 1997, Acting Secretary, National Association of Concerned Student of Ota (NACSO), 1997-1998, and Councillorship Aspirant in Ota Ward 1 under the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in 1998.
The man of the people was also the President of the Ogun State Student Union (Federal Polytechnic Ado- Ekiti Chapter) between 2000 and 2001, he was Personal Assistant to the Commissioner of Federal Character Commission Abuja from 2003 to 2005 and House of Assembly Aspirant under the PDP in 2007.
He was Personal Assistant to the Commissioner For Agriculture in Ogun- State from 2009 to 2011, Federal House of Representatives Aspirant in Ado-Odo Ota Federal Constituency under the All Progressives Congress (APC) in 2015 and Federal House of Representatives Aspirant in Ado-Odo Ota Federal Constituency under the APC in 2018.
Ado/Odo Ota Local Government definitely needs someone with much political and administrative experiences like Prince Aina Kazeem Owolabi to change the council for the better at this material time as the people of the area are clamouring for development, which only the “Prince of Courage” can offer.
