The Olota of Ota, His Royal Majesty, Oba Professor Adeyemi Obalanlege P.hD has cautioned the Alake of Ake over interfering in traditional matters concerning Aworiland.

The Awori monarch spoke on Monday, 22nd April 2019, when he paid a royal visit to his subjects at Mesan Otta in continuation of a royal tour across towns and hamlets within his domain in Otta, Awori Kingdom.

The Baale of Mesan, Baale Muiz Odunoye led other community leaders to receive his Majesty at Mesan Primary School.

In his speech, he thanked Kabiyesi for extending the Royal visit to the ancient town which to him is long expected as people of Mesan had been looking forward to receiving their father in Mesan Otta.

He equally seized the opportunity of the visit to call the attention of Olota to the provoking move of Alake of Ake, Abeokuta in his failed attempt to install a factional Baale in the area.

In a statement made available and signed by his personal assistant, Prince Adeyemi Olusesi, Oba Obalanlege warned that no portion of Aworiland would be allowed to be taken by any group of individuals under his domain.

He, however, appealed to the State Government and all well-meaning Nigerians to call Alake of Ake to order.
