This, he stated in a condolence message he personally signed and made available to newsheadline247.
The message read;
It’s with a deep sense of sorrow and sadness but with total submission to the will of Almighty God, we have received the shocking news of the transition of His Royal Highness Oba, Dr. Abdul-Ganniyu Adekunle Ajinese who just joined his progenitors. May Allah’s mercy be upon him.
Against this background, ON BEHALF OF MYSELF, FAMILY, AND MEMBERS OF THE SOCIAL DEMOCRATIC PARTY (SDP) we extend our heartfelt condolences to the entire blessed Royal Family of Aseyin, The Chiefs in council, The Baales, and the entire Iseyin city on the transition of the King.
The King was someone who exemplified selfless service to his town and his loss will be felt by so many. He will be deeply missed.
The passing of the King leaves a void that will be so hard to fill. He achieved so much and set examples for so many in town and service to one’s town.
May the good Lord grant the Blessed Royal Family, chiefs in council, Baales, and the entire good people of Iseyin the fortitude to bear the great loss and comfort them in this tragic time.
May His service be a legacy that lasts forever.
Signed
HON. ADEBISI SIMEON OKE.
