PDP NEC Affirms Sam Anyanwu as National Secretary
The National Executive Committee (NEC) of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has officially affirmed Senator Samuel Anyanwu as the party’s National Secretary, bringing clarity to recent speculation surrounding the position.
Acting National Chairman of the PDP, Umar Damagum, made the announcement on Monday in Abuja following a crucial NEC meeting held at the party’s national secretariat.
Addressing journalists after the meeting, Damagum said the affirmation of Anyanwu was among the key resolutions adopted during the session, reiterating that NEC remains the highest decision-making body of the party.
“Let it be clear that the NEC has affirmed Senator Samuel Anyanwu as the National Secretary of our great party,” Damagum declared.
The endorsement is seen as a move to consolidate internal cohesion ahead of upcoming political activities and reinforce the party’s leadership structure.
