“This is a truly remarkable and unparalleled period. It is essential that we engage in fervent prayers and supplications during these nights”

Notable Nigerian philanthropist, Alhaji Asimiu Oluwatele Akobada, has urged Muslims in Nigeria and worldwide to intensify their prayers and supplications during the final ten days and nights of the sacred month of Ramadan.

He emphasized the significant importance of this period, highlighting it as a special time for the global Ummah.

Akobada, who expressed this on Sunday in statement seen by newsheadline247, underscored the spiritual significance of the last ten days of Ramadan, noting that it includes the revelation of the Holy Qur’an to the revered Prophet Muhammad (SAW) and the auspicious Night of Majesty within that timeframe.

“This is a truly remarkable and unparalleled period. It is essential that we engage in fervent prayers and supplications during these nights. May Allah accept our entreaties, forgive us, guide us to the Night of Majesty, and grant us salvation on the Day of Judgment,” expressed Akobada.

Akobada concluded with a prayer, saying “May the essence of Ramadan and the blessings of these final ten days enlighten our hearts, bestow peace and unity upon us, and reward us with goodness in this world and the hereafter (Aameen). Ramadan Mubarak!”
