On Wednesday, Vice President Kashim Shettima led a group of distinguished Nigerians at the groundbreaking ceremony for First Bank’s new 40-storey headquarters located in Eko Atlantic City, Lagos.

The Vice President was welcomed by Femi Otedola, a businessman and chair of the First Holding Company. He was joined at the ceremony by several dignitaries, including Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu, Ogun State Governor Dapo Abiodun, Ondo State Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa, former Senate President Bukola Saraki, founder of Dangote Industries Aliko Dangote, co-founders of the Chagoury Group Gilbert and Roland Chagoury, and Deji Adeleke, among others.

This project is poised to become Nigeria’s tallest building and marks a significant milestone for the financial institution. First Bank stated that the groundbreaking ceremony represents the start of a transformative journey, underscoring its commitment to excellence, innovation, and customer satisfaction.
