Engineer Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso, former Governor of Kano State and serving Senator paid a visited former Vice President of Nigeria, Atiku Abubakar at his residence in Asokoro, Abuja

Kwanwanso was with Atiku while the national convention of his party, All Progressives Congress (APC), was ongoing at the Eagles Square, Abuja.

It was gathered that Kwankwaso arrived Atiku’s residence at about 8.30pm and went into a closed-door meeting with the former Vice President.

Details of the meeting which lasted for about 45 minutes were not disclosed.

A privy source, however, hinted Kwankwaso’s visit was to pay Sallah homage to Atiku who was not in the country during the Eid El Fitr celebrations.

The source added that both leaders also used the occasion of the visit to discuss the state of the nation.

Senator Kwankwaso, a member of the aggrieved new Peoples Democratic Party (nPDP) caucus APC was one of the notable figures of the group absent at the convention.
