Senator Gbenga Daniel, representing Ogun East District at the National Assembly, has congratulated his colleagues, Senator Opeyemi Bamidele and Senator Olamilekan Solomon, popularly known as Yayi.
This is coming following the emergence of Senator Bamidele as the senate leader of the 10th assembly, while Yayi was appointed the chairman of House Committee on Appropriation.
Daniel who congratulated Senator Bamidele, representing Ekiti Central Senatorial District while Senator Solomon representing Ogun West District also congratulated other senators who were given various appointments.
In a statement signed by the former governor, Sen. Daniel enjoined them to hit the ground running in the interests of the Nigerian people.
“I congratulate my brother Senators, Bamidele Opeyemi and Olamilekan Solomon (Yayi), who have emerged as Senate Leader and Chairman of Appropriation Committee; as well as other Distinguished Senators who have been so appointed in the Red Chambers. Nigeria is a work-in-progress, and the job has just started,” he wrote.
