Popular entrepreneur, Quilox Night Club owner, and former member of the House of Representatives, Shina Peller, has unveiled a charitable initiative as part of activities lined up to celebrate his 50th birthday.
Peller announced the initiative in a message shared on social media on Sunday, revealing that the outreach programme, tagged #ShinaPellerGiveAway, is aimed at spreading kindness and supporting people in need as he marks his golden jubilee.
“4 days to go! In celebration of my 50th birthday, I’m excited to kick off something truly meaningful — the #ShinaPellerGiveAway,” he wrote.
According to the former lawmaker, the initiative has been carefully structured to ensure transparency and wider public participation.
To achieve this, he announced the launch of two dedicated Instagram pages — @givingwithshinapeller and @shinapellergivaway — alongside the hashtags #GivingWithShinaPeller and #ShinaPellerGiveAway.
Peller explained that the social media platforms were specifically created to make the initiative “easier and well organized for everyone involved.”
The businessman also addressed supporters who had been requesting his bank account details to contribute financially to the project, stressing that he would not receive donations directly.
“Also, for those sending me direct messages asking for account details to support the Giving With Shina Peller, I sincerely appreciate the love and kindness. However, I will not be receiving money directly,” he stated.
Instead, Peller encouraged Nigerians and well-wishers to extend support directly to vulnerable individuals around them, describing such acts of generosity as the greatest birthday gift he could receive.
“Kindly pick anyone of your choice to support — that would mean so much more to me,” he added.
