Come April 2018, Yemi Adeola would no longer be the Managing Director of Sterling Bank.

The termination of his position in the bank hinges on one of the guiding rules of the industry.

Reports stated ‘Yemi Adeola would have reached the stipulated ten-year term for bank bosses to exit the saddle of leadership.’

Yemi was appointed the Managing Director of Sterling bank in December 2007, two years after Sterling Bank was established.

Yemi, a 1982 law graduate of the Obafemi Awolowo University is the younger brother to Fola Adeola, Co founder and former managing Director at Guaranty Trust Bank
