2023 Presidency: ‘Accursed slave’ Yahaya Bello will trounce Atiku, says Femi Fani-Kayode

“When I wrote that this boy was a useful idiot and an accursed slave some said I was being harsh. Truth is that he is worse than that. His mental faculties are non-functional.”

A former Minister of Aviation, Femi Fani-Kayode, has said Kogi Governor Yahaya Bello whom he once described as an “accursed slave” will defeat former vice president Atiku Abubakar in the 2023 presidential election.

“He (Mr Bello) will defeat Atiku hands down,” Mr Fani-Kayode said. “Particularly Atiku Abubakar cannot stand against anybody in the APC, Yahaya Bello or Fashola,” Fani-Kayode said.

Fani-Kayode, who before now had berated Governor Bello as a “boy,” a “useful idiot” and “an accursed slave with non-functional mental faculties”, made this statement in an interview with Channels TV on Friday night.

“If President Buhari asks me to jump into fire, I will not hesitate to jump into it”- Gov. Yahaya Bello.

Speaking further, Fani-Kayode said, “I believe Yahaya Bello will appeal to millions of young people in this country that we are changing the dynamics of giving power to a younger person.”

Fani-Kayode had also in 2019 described the APC as “a filthy, rat-infested sinking ship,” stressing that he would rather die than join the ruling party. – He, however, joined the party against his vow.

Since he dumped the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) for the APC last year, he has made efforts to project his new party in good light.
