Ondo State Government has begun recruitment into the Amotekun Corps, the state’s Security Network Agency and warned against the selling of the forms to interested individuals.
Chief Adetunji Olu-Adeleye, the Commander of the Amotekun Corps, while briefing reporters, said the forms are free for eligible residents in the state.
According to him, the recruitment processes began following approval by the state Governor, Oluwarotimi Akeredolu.
Olu-Adeleye urged interested applicants to download the application and guarantor’s form online at http://www.ondoamotekun.org.ng He said the forms must be submitted in person before June 22, 2020.

He warned applicants against giving false information and advised them to get the endorsement of their village head and the chairman of their local government
Olu-Adeleye further said that the recruitment exercise was in phases and pegged eligible applicants for the first phase to be between 18 to 70 years, while educational qualification ranged from First School Leaving Certificate to Doctoral Degree level.
