Dame Patience Jonathan has been ordered to pay anti corruption agency
Former first lady, Dame Patience Jonathan has been ordered to pay anti corruption agency, Economic and Financial Crimes Commission N50,000.
The order was issued by a federal high court sitting in Port Harcourt, Rivers State.
The court made the order after the first lady withdrew a N2billion case she filed against the commission.
Dame Patience had slammed the law suit against the EFCC for freezing her $20million bank account.
But she doesn’t want to continue the case against.
The EFCC had pushed for a N500,000 compensation for filing defence against the former president’s wife charges.
But Justice Saliu Saidu gave an order for payment of N50,000 to EFCC by Jonathan.
