Governor of Oyo State, Engineer Seyi Makinde says he enjoyed watching Shooting Stars Sports Club, 3SC, play Kano Pillars under lights at the magnificent Lekan Salami Stadium in Ibadan, the State capital.
3SC on Sunday night beat Kano Pillars by a goal in the Nigeria Professional Football League matchday 18.
Governor Makinde was at the stand to cheer the state darling team to victory.
A Uche Ezeala’s 13th-minute solitary goal was all the Oluyole Warriors needed to secure the maximum points against the Kano giants.
Governor Makinde, after the game, disclosed that he enjoyed watching Shooting Stars, which he described as his ‘darling team’, play against Kano Pillars under the lights at the Stadium.
He expressed this via a tweet post on Sunday night.

The governor wrote, “I enjoyed watching our darling Shooting Stars Sports Club (3SC) play against Kano Pillars F.C. under the lights at the Lekan Salami Sports Complex, Adamasingba this evening. 3SC won the match 1-0. We look forward to more wins. Up shooting!”
The victory pushed the Ibadan lords up to the 11th position on the log with 23 points.
The Oluyole Warriors will host another northern side, Nasarawa United, in their next game on March 20, 2022, at the rebranded Lekan Salami Stadium.
