Nigerian billionaire singer David Adeleke popularly known as Davido has acquired a large expanse of land worth N2.5 billion in the heart of Banana Island – Nigeria’s coterie of the wealthy.
The sensational musician who is still in the process of moving into his Banana Island mansion caused frenzy in the online community following the purchase of a super-expensive property in the neighbourhood of the rich, famous and powerful.
The Singer seems to have shelved his love for expensive jewellery pieces for a huge interest in real estate.
Davido excitedly shared the good news with his 23.5 million followers via his Instastory channel.
The multiple-award-winning singer reportedly confirmed the price of his new property to blogger and friend, Tunde Ednut.
In a report, Ednut announced that he was on a call with Davido and saw the receipt of the new acquisition.
Apparently, Davido cuffed out a whopping N2.5 billion to acquire the piece of land. He also shared his willingness to make a receipt available for those in doubt while reacting in Ednut’s comment section.
