The National Hajj Commission of Nigeria (NAHCON) has announced the fare for the 2025 Hajj pilgrimage. Intending pilgrims from Southern states are expected to pay N8.7 million, while those from Borno and Adamawa zones will pay N8.3 million.

The commission’s chairman, Prof. Abdullahi Usman, disclosed this information in a statement issued on Monday in Abuja by NAHCON’s Assistant Director of Information and Publication, Fatima Usara. Usman noted that intending pilgrims from the Northern zone will pay N8.4 million for the pilgrimage to Saudi Arabia.

He described the fare as the outcome of extensive consultations with key stakeholders, including the presidency and state pilgrims’ boards. The statement clarified, “The 2025 Hajj fare for intending pilgrims from the Borno and Adamawa zones is N8.3 million. Similarly, the cost for those from Southern states is N8.7 million, while pilgrims from the Northern zone will pay N8.4 million. This modest effort was achieved after extensive discussions to ensure inclusivity in the decision-making process.”
