Afrobeats artistes Pheelz and Khaid have raised alarm after their SUV was allegedly broken into in Los Angeles, with several valuables reportedly stolen.
According to the musicians, the thieves made away with items including laptops, Khaid’s international passport and a hard drive containing some of his unreleased songs.
Khaid disclosed the incident in a post shared on Instagram, expressing frustration over the loss of important travel documents and creative materials.
“Just fcking got robbed in Cali, my passport to travel, my laptop, my fcking hard drive. All my f*cking songs,” the singer wrote, lamenting the loss of the files.
Pheelz also confirmed the incident, describing the experience as one of the “craziest nights” of his life while thanking God for their safety.
“Craziest night last night. LA you do this one. Thank God for life,” he wrote.
The producer-singer also shared his surprise at the response after contacting authorities, saying the situation was different from what he expected.
“I thought it was going to be like the movies where you call the police and they pull up almost immediately. Omo we called o, they say make we fill form online,” he added.
The incident highlights growing concerns over vehicle break-ins in parts of Los Angeles, particularly targeting parked cars containing valuables. No official statement has yet been issued by authorities regarding the case
