Nollywood actress Scarlet Gomez has shared insights into her marriage, highlighting trust and emotional security as key pillars of her relationship.
The actress made the revelation during a recent appearance on Curiosity Made Me Ask, where conversations centered around romance and how people perceive intimate interactions, particularly in the entertainment industry.
During the discussion, media personality Isbaeu sparked debate with a remark about how individuals interpret on-screen intimacy. He said, “I don’t know how you people do it, you’ll kiss somebody and go home and say it is Joshua I kissed. It’s not Joshua you kissed, it was Yomi Fash Lanso you kissed.”
Reacting to the comment, Gomez dismissed any concerns about her professional roles affecting her marriage. She stressed that her husband remains confident and unbothered by her on-screen kissing scenes.
“I’m married to a man, not a boy. He doesn’t have a small ego, and he trusts his wife. Moving on,” she said.
Her response underscores the importance of trust and maturity in relationships, especially in professions where romantic scenes are part of the job.
