Cubana Chief Priest Loses APC Reps Ticket as Seyi Tinubu Sends Supportive Message

Seyi Tinubu has expressed support for businessman and socialite Cubana Chief Priest following his defeat in the All Progressives Congress (APC) primary election for the Orsu/Orlu/Oru East Federal Constituency seat in Imo State.

Cubana Chief Priest, whose real name is Pascal Okechukwu, had contested for the APC ticket ahead of the 2027 general elections but lost to the incumbent lawmaker, Canice Nwachukwu. Reports indicate that the celebrity businessman secured 14 votes during the primary election.

The nightlife promoter currently serves as the Imo State Coordinator of the City Boys Movement, a political support group linked to President Bola Tinubu.

Reacting to the outcome, Seyi Tinubu shared a message of encouragement via his Instagram page on Sunday, urging Cubana Chief Priest not to lose hope despite the setback.

“Bro, sometimes by losing a battle, you find a new way to win the war. Keep your head up @cubana_chiefpriest. We know what you are capable of achieving,” Seyi wrote in the post later reposted by Cubana Chief Priest.
