Socialite and businessman Pascal Okechukwu has lost the All Progressives Congress (APC) primary election for the Orsu/Orlu/Oru East federal constituency seat in the House of Representatives.
Okechukwu, widely known as Cubana Chief Priest, contested for the party’s ticket ahead of the 2027 general elections but was defeated by the incumbent representative, Canice Moore Nwachukwu, who is currently serving a second term in office.
The nightlife entrepreneur had openly supported the administration of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and remained active within the APC’s political structure.
He also served as the Imo State director of the City Boy Movement, a youth-driven campaign group mobilising support for President Tinubu’s re-election ambition.
