Nana Otedola, wife of Nigerian billionaire Femi Otedola, has encouraged her daughter, Temi Otedola, and her husband, singer Oluwatosin Ajibade, popularly known as Mr Eazi, to consider having 11 children, saying the couple has the capacity to raise a large family.
She made the remark during a joint podcast with Temi and Mr Eazi, where they discussed pregnancy, family and married life.
Speaking about her first pregnancy, Temi described the experience as largely enjoyable despite the emotional and hormonal changes.
“The most challenging part of being pregnant for me is dealing with emotions and hormones. But apart from that, it has been beautiful. Maybe I would have six or seven children,” she said.
Reacting, Mr Eazi jokingly suggested that the couple should increase the number to 11.
“Just make it eleven; a football team,” he said.
Supporting the idea, Nana Otedola said the couple’s steady progress in life and career would make raising a large family achievable.
“Well, the way you guys are going, I am sure having eleven children won’t be a bad thing because I know you will have a farmhouse somewhere,” she said.
Nana also disclosed that she was surprised when she learnt the couple were expecting their first child soon after their wedding.
According to her, she had expected Temi and Mr Eazi to spend a few years enjoying married life before starting a family.
