Popular Nigerian On-Air Personality, Toke Makinwa shocked the social media wave after going nude to promote her new beauty product – ‘Glow by TM’
The product is yet unknown but her pictorial message on Instagram indicates it is a product for skin care.
Fans and followers are, however, not keen in the product at the moment but rather engaged each other on Makinwa’s nude picture.
In the posted picture captioned “When you glow there is nothing to hide,” she sits fully nude with arms and legs crossed to cover her private parts.
Makinwa’s latest move no doubt generated a stir on social media; some praising her beauty and courage while others condemned her nudity.
Kicking against the picture, a commenter wrote “ So being a celebrity means you should go naked in public? Las las we go dey alright’’
Another wrote “there is nothing to hide anymore. Unleash the other parts while another said “remove your hand from your chest since there’s nothing to hide”.
Some of the others comments against Makinwa’s nude picture read; “Aunty Toke, I really, really like you before but after seeing this, I dislike you,”
“This pix is a NO from me…. Anyone can argue with his or her phone…. I’m out”

“Hell no I’m not going to buy any Glow product that’s going to result into this… yeah this ?so I’m gonna pose nude like this after using the product. Mbanu”
But it was not all condemnation, as another commenter said: “But all of you that are whining ya mouth on this comment section, have you not done worst things? Leave @tokemakinwa You guys aren’t God…”
In the same vein, another said: “I don’t see anything wrong with this. Yes, she is a Christian, a grown up woman, and yes we young ladies look up to her. She is promoting her brand. And who are y’all that are judging.”
And , “Women should be allowed to express themselves whichever way the chose to, this is not been naked in my opinion.”
Makinwa was criticised by some for “going against African norms” while some fans said her move was anti-Christian.
Reacting to the condemnation, the television personality said: “You will find that people will always have opinions about your decisions.
“Don’t take it personally, it’s simply because they are not courageous enough to take action in their own lives.”
