Agemo-Okuboyejo Greets Muslims in Ado-Odo/Ota, Calls for Peace in Hijrah 1448 AH

The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) House of Representatives candidate for Ado-Odo/Ota Federal Constituency in the 2027 general election, Engr. Temitayo Agemo-Okuboyejo, has extended warm Islamic New Year greetings to the Muslim faithful in her constituency and across Ogun State as the world marks the commencement of 1448 AH.

In a heartfelt message released on the occasion of Hijrah, Agemo-Okuboyejo, popularly known as NaijaBabe, described the Islamic New Year as a sacred reminder of faith, sacrifice, patience, and unwavering trust in Almighty Allah, urging Muslims to reflect on the spiritual significance of the season.

She said, “I extend my heartfelt greetings and sincere felicitations to all Muslim faithful in Ado-Odo/Ota Federal Constituency and beyond on the blessed occasion of the Islamic New Year, 1448 AH.”

According to her, the Hijrah represents far more than a calendar transition, but a deep spiritual journey that continues to inspire lessons of resilience, unity and devotion to righteousness.

“The Hijrah is a powerful reminder of sacrifice, perseverance, and complete trust in Allah (SWT),” she stated. “It teaches us the importance of standing firm in faith, embracing patience in trials, and working together as one people regardless of differences.”

The PDP candidate further prayed for peace, stability and prosperity for families within the constituency, Ogun State, and Nigeria at large, expressing hope for a more united and progressive society in the new Islamic year.

“As we begin this new Islamic year, I pray that Allah (SWT) blesses our homes with peace, our communities with unity, and our nation with lasting prosperity,” she said. “May this Hijrah usher in renewed hope, stronger bonds of brotherhood, and greater progress for all.”

Agemo-Okuboyejo also called on residents to use the occasion to strengthen communal ties and support one another in the pursuit of development, noting that collective effort remains key to building a better society.

She concluded her message by wishing all Muslims a peaceful and spiritually fulfilling Islamic New Year, saying, “Happy Hijrah 1448 AH to you all. May it bring blessings, guidance, and abundant grace to our land.”
