The Mobolaji Johnson Arena, Onikan Lagos has been favoured to host the Nigeria Premier Football League Super Six competition.

It was gathered that the Lagos beautiful sporting arena was picked over the country’s national sports complex, Moshood Abiola Stadium in Abuja, the federal capital owing to its eye-popping aesthetics.

The competition is billed to take place in May 2023.

The top three teams in the NPFL Group A and B are expected to converge in Lagos for the competition.

The tournament will be run in a league format with the team with the highest points going home with the trophy.

The overall winners and second-placed team will represent Nigeria n the CAF Champions League next year.

The third-placed team will compete in the CAF Confederation Cup.
