Luxe XXXV: Oprah Band to Headline Lagos Independence Day Party
Lagos is set for a lively Independence Day celebration as Luxe XXXV, popularly known as LUXE 35, hosts a live band party featuring the Oprah Band on Thursday, October 1, 2026.
The event, scheduled to begin at 5pm, will hold at Luxe XXXV, located at 35 Oyemekun Street, Ogba, Ifako-Ijaiye, Lagos, with guests expected to gather for an evening of live music, entertainment, food and hospitality as Nigeria marks its Independence Day.
Organisers said the Oprah Band will headline the evening’s entertainment, with the celebration expected to blend live music and nightlife in a relaxed hospitality setting.
The October 1 event adds to Luxe XXXV’s growing entertainment calendar and comes as Lagos prepares for a range of activities to mark Nigeria’s Independence anniversary.
Luxe XXXV has in recent months established itself as a hospitality and lifestyle destination serving Ogba, Ikeja and surrounding areas, offering accommodation, dining, bar and lounge services, alongside facilities for entertainment and private events.
The venue has hosted several social and entertainment engagements that have attracted attention among Lagos residents and nightlife enthusiasts. These include its Valentine celebration, Itunnu Awe Dance, Eid Soiree and Big Match Drama events, which featured live music, a resident DJ, poolside entertainment, food and drinks.
The venue’s activities have also extended beyond nightlife and social entertainment. In August 2026, Luxe XXXV hosted an investment summit for teenagers and youths, highlighting its growing use as a venue for both corporate and social gatherings.
With the Independence Day party, the hospitality destination is again turning its attention to live entertainment, with the Oprah Band expected to provide the evening’s musical attraction.
The celebration is scheduled to start from 5pm on October 1 and will take place at the Luxe XXXV premises on Oyemekun Street, Ogba.
Guests planning to attend have been advised that the event is strictly for persons aged 18 and above.
