Seyi Makinde, the Governor of Oyo State, has appointed former member of the House of Representatives, Busari Olayemi, as the new Director-General of the Abuja/Lagos Liaison Office.
Before the appointment, Olayemi served as the Executive Adviser on Intra-Party Affairs to the Oyo State Government. He succeeds Mr. Ezekiel Oladimeji in the role.
The appointment was conveyed in a letter signed by the Chief of Staff to the Governor, Otunba Segun Ogunwuyi. The governor congratulated the newly appointed Director-General and urged him to carry out his responsibilities with dedication, commitment, and loyalty to the state.
According to the statement, the appointment takes immediate effect.
