Nollywood actress Biola Adebayo has penned an emotional tribute to her late colleague and close friend, Allwell Ademola, five months after her passing.
In a heartfelt Instagram post shared on Wednesday, Biola, who fondly called the late actress “Eniobanke,” admitted that she still struggles to accept the reality of Allwell’s death.
The actress revealed that the past few months have been emotionally difficult, noting that she has relied heavily on the strength of the Holy Spirit to keep going.
According to her, although she once appeared strong while Allwell was alive, she now depends entirely on faith to navigate life’s challenges.
Biola disclosed that the pain of losing her friend remains fresh, adding that the vacuum left behind has yet to be filled.
She said she misses Allwell’s smile, humour, conversations, hugs, and prayers, stressing that no one made her laugh the way the late actress did.
The grieving actress added that memories of Allwell are all she has left, promising to cherish them forever.
She also acknowledged that life has not been easy since the actress’ passing but expressed confidence that God would continue to strengthen and comfort her.
In the emotional message, Biola wrote: “It’s been five months without you, and it’s still hard to believe you’re truly gone. I miss you deeply. My heart is still broken, and the vacuum remains unfilled.
“I miss your smile, your jokes, our conversations, your hugs, and our prayers. Your memories are all I have left, and I will cherish them forever.”
