Veteran Nollywood actor Adebayo Salami, popularly known as Oga Bello, has said passion for the arts, rather than fame or financial reward, inspired him and his colleagues during their early days in theatre.
Oga Bello made the remark while sharing a throwback photo of himself and fellow veteran actor Baba Wande on his Instagram page.
Reflecting on their journey, he said they were driven by their love for acting, adding that the success and recognition they later achieved came as a divine reward.
“When we started theatre, our minds and hearts were more about passion for the arts. Every other goodness that came from it was just a divine bonus for us,” he wrote.
